The most important element of this 2nd series of Aston Martin V8 Volante which appeared in 1972, consists of a revised front part, with only two headlights (the first series had 4 of them) which improves the beams in dive at the expense of the full headlights. The new figure of the car wants to evoke the previous generations of Aston Martin. The instrument panel behind the leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel is polished walnut. This convertible sold in 167 units remains a very unique collector’s item.
