Austin Healey 3000 BT7 1960 SOLD

The Austin Healey 3000 is a sports car built between 1959 and 1967 by Jensen Motors for the Austin Healey brand. It is known to specialists by the nickname “Big” in reference to its large 3-litre engine.

She achieved many sporting successes in rallying at the time,

The Austin Healey 3000 MK I arrived in 1959 and replaced the Austin Healey 100-6 in the lineup.

The body remains identical but the 2.6 L 6-cylinder engine is replaced by a 2912 cc engine with 2 SU carburettors and disc brakes at the front. It will only be called MKI when the MK II goes into production.
